Pregnancy Pilates

This class is tailored specifically to help you build strength and stamina during pregnancy, to learn how to move mindfully and prepare your body and mind for birth and motherhood. Pregnancy Pilates is suitable for second and third trimesters. All mats and small equipment are provided.

This is a mixed level mat class, focusing on moving mindfully, building strength and increasing flexibility throughout body. All mats and small equipment are provided.

1:45pm - HERNE HILL

Mum & Baby Pilates

This is a class for you, the mums. It's designed to help reintroduce movement and strengthening to your body in a safe way, all while your baby plays on the mat beside you. I have done extensive training in postnatal wellness and the class sizes are small, so you can be sure and get the attention you need. We will focus on rebuilding your core strength, moving mindfully and releasing all that new mama tension. The class is suitable for mums who are minimum 6 weeks post delivery up to pre-crawling babies. All mats and small equipment are provided. *I alternate weeks teaching Mum and Baby Pilates and Mum and Baby Yoga with Michele. Core & Pelvic Floor Restore

This is a course I run occasionally in 4 week blocks focusing on building a toned, reflexive core and a strong, functional pelvic floor using a combination of hypopressives breath work, alignment strategies and strength training. The techniques you learn will help tone deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, prevent and/or reduce the symptoms of urinary incontinence, reduce severity/symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse and improve overall postural awareness. The class is targeted specifically at postnatal wellness, however it is open to women of all ages and stages, as long as you are minimum 8-12 weeks post delivery and have been cleared for exercise. Restorative Pilates Mat Class

This is a 'gentler' version of the Pilates Mat classes. An excellent class for those new to pilates, anyone suffering from injuries/back pain, postnatal women or for people who are over 60. A wonderful way to finish out the week with a restoring and mindful movement session that will leave you feeling calm and relaxed. All mats and small equipment are provided.
